Nantes 2-0 Porto

Very tight game. Not many chances in the first half but Coulibaly snuck two goals either side of half time. Mad pressure from Porto but nothing falling for them. Great game Niall.


Nantes 5-2 Bournemouth

Crazy game with a mad first half that finished 4-2. Waris hattrick and Coulibaly for Nantes and King and Wilson for Bournemouth. It was a mad game!

Villarreal (az1234) 2 - 0 PSV (danharps)
Tight game that was level for a long time, mainly due to poor finishing by both sides. Ekambi put Villarreal ahead in the second half before a late tap in from Dani Raba sealed the win.

West Ham 3 - 3 Benfica

Craaaaazy 1st half, end to end with Anrnautovic opening the scoring, but Benfica soon equalized after hitting the post in a bit of an onslaught for a period.
Benfica then went 2-1 up before Arnie made 2-2, there was 1 minute added for inj time in the 1st with sefrovic narrowing down on my goal in the 47th minute with me cursing the ref he made 3-2 at the break .

2nd half was a little more cagey however Benfica did have a few decent chances and even hit the post twice, up popped Antonio at the back post in the 92nd minute to grab an equalizer from a cross made out of a loose ball.

End to End enjoyable game!

Fulham 1-2 Crystal Palace
Cracking game , Fulham snuck into the break with a 1 goal lead Cairney flying one into the top corner from inside the box just at the end of the half . Palace came out stronger in the second half scoring on the hour make through Ayew , game was end to end the last 20mins with Hennessey making a remarkable save to keep his side in the game, palace would get the winner late on after some fantastic skill from zaha on the left wing it was the sub riedewald who got up the highest and headed home

Wolves 3-0 Bournemouth (philamental)

Wolves dominated possession for long periods but philamental was always dangerous on the counter attack. Jimenez would open the scoring around the 27th minute in what would turn out to be the only chance of the first half. Game would open up a bit in the second half, Bournemouth had one or two chances and couldn't take them. Jimenez would strike again around the 73rd minute.

Then came a pivotal chance in the game, Bournemouth swung in a cross and the ball landed to a player about 4 yards out and he would blaze it over the bar! Philamental proceeded to go crazy ! and wanted to take off his player but realised he had all his subs used!
Phila being a mental bast##d took him off anyway to leave the crowd at molineaux in hysterics ! The in form Jota would wrap it up in the last minute ! with a cheeky finish and celebrate in front of the Bournemouth boss!

In the post match interviews the Bournemouth manager said "I'd like to take this moment to apologise to absolutely f'n nobody" and that he also felt the miss was so bad he needed to fine the player! He then finished the interview by saying "Jota ! **** you and your eyebrows" grabbed his nuts in Walter White like fashion and storm out of the interview. The wolves manager refused to comment !

(Kingosh) benfica 0 - 1 Fiorentina (colemaniser)

Good game this and pretty end to end with chances for both sides despite the low scoreline.

Even enough start to the game. Cole probably with the upper hand. Fiorentinas goal came on 38 mins after a backpass to my keeper which was pressured by chiesa and he nicked it from my keeper to score in an empty net. Particularly disappointing as it was the only goal!

Almost got one back few mins later with a 1v1 and his keeper far out but my chip went wide.

Second half we both had decent enough chances but no goals. I had a clear open goal if a tight angle later on but blazed it over. Slowly going downhill now in the league but early days I guess 😄 good game anyway

1 nil up at the break and palace had a man sent off at the start of the second half which opened the game up , a hatrick from bed wetter and 1 for quincy , benteke with the palace goal

Palace 3 - 5 Ajax

A crazy game end to end with 34 shots at goal. Ajax went 2 up from Neres (38) & Dolberg (42) . Zaha got one back on 44 mins but Ziyech put Ajax 2 clear again on 45+1.
Palace 3-1 down had to come out all guns blazing 2nd half. Mcarthur got one back on 54 to get within one goal.
Ziyech on 70 restored Ajax 2 goal cushion before Wickham made it 4-3 on 74.
In injury time Neres made it 5-3 to end a compelling fixture

Fulham 5-2 Ajax
A crazy game that had craven cottage rocking, 3 goals coming in the first 15 minutes with Ajax 2 1 up , as the half went on Fulham wpuld hit two to take a 3 2 lead into the break
Second half started off just as quick as the first , Ajax having a lot of possession but Fulham would score in the 80th minute to the kill off the game and in the closing moments Fulham would get there fifth after Ajax had been all over them looking to take it into sweaty bum time 😂

Another game with 3 goals in the first 15 minutes Fulham 2 1 up at the break , both teams started brightly in the second half and with just 5 minutes played new signing Ryan Babel would put Fulham 2 to the good
Jonas who had been threatening all game got his second goal in the 85th minute to set up a very sweaty last 5 minutes but Fulham would hold on

Torino 4 Fulham 2

Really tough game where neither team could hold onto the ball. Zaza opened the scoring for Torino before Ryan Babel scored a peach (Yeah that Ryan babel). Babel looked a genius all game. Half time passed at 1 all but it was Seri who took the lead for Fulham but only briefly as Torino equalised 3 mins later.
Eventually Torino snuck ahead through a beloti one two and then nicked a late goal to seal it.

Fiorentina (Colemaniser) 5-1 West Ham (TheOriginalJipo)

After a false start with the first game due to a very laggy connection, the game finally kicked off in Italy.

Benassi got an early goal for Fiorentina and Simeone followed up with a goal not long after. 2 more goals from Muriel and Simeone late in the half put Fiorentina 4-0 ahead going into the second half. Simeone completed his hattrick not long into the second half but West Ham would grab a consolation late on with a nice counter attack.

Wolves 3 - 5 Leicester

A game where wolves dominated possession but couldn't find a way through the Leicester wall ha. Great counter attacking and finishing from Meath who was well ahead throughout couldn't claw back the lead. Some great goals from Vardy

Palace (nslattery) 0 - 4 Fiorentina (Colemaniser)

Couldn't compete with Colemainser in this one. I kept it level until 30 mins when my goalie decided to mess about and got dispossessed by Simeone.

3 more goals in the 2nd half by Benassi (63), Mirallas (68) & Simeone (89) made it an emphatic 4-0.

My keeper made 8 saves as well to keep the score line down.

PSV 3-2 Bournemouth

Cracking game. PSV went 1 up early on after a good start. Bournemouth came into the game more but PSV managed to score on the counter to make it 2-0. King for Bournemouth got 1 back immediately and it was 2-1 at half time. Bournemouth came out in the second half and really put it up to PSV. PSV scored on the counter to make it 3-1 and from then on it was all Bournemouth. After a late scare it finished 3-2.

Villarreal (az1234) 6 - 3 Real Betis (DavidJKennedy)

Villarreal went 3-0 up early on after goals from Cazorla and 2 from Ekambi before 3 quick goals from Leon, Bartra and Tello got Betis back on level terms. Villarreal woke up again in the second half with sub Moreno grabbing 2 goals and Trigueros adding another to round out the scoring in a mad game!

Porto (niallym) 1-1 Villarreal (az1234)

Porto went ahead on 28 minutes through Torres, Fornal equalised for Villarreal on the stroke of half time. Not many clear cut chances in a tight game, but more of them fell to the away side.
Good game az1234, you probably deserved to shade it and take 3 points.

Torino 4 Seville 1
Tougher game than it sounds good defensive work for Seville who kept the ball for long spell meant that it was the 39th minute before Zaza scored his first. 1 nil at ht. 2nd half opened up with Zaza getting on the end of a balloti cross. It went 3 nil shortly before Seville pulled 1 back. Zaza finished off his hat trick with beautiful bicycle kick.

Not much to say here. Could have been more easily enough. Nothing fell for me and reggie seemed like he could score whenever. Well beaten. My early season optimism is fading somewhat 😄

PSV 1-0 Leicester

Really tight game with little between the sides. De Jong scored early on for the home side and that proved to be the difference. Very few clear cut chances for either side. Good game.

Leicester 1 - 1 Porto

Not a great game, great opening goal for porto, first time shot curled into the near post. Second was a great og, backpass which went in. Half time was 1 shot each! Porto had a few more chances at the start of the second half but Leicester clung on

Benfica 2-1 Crystal Palace

Back to winning ways here. Got a free kick on edge of box after 2 mins and Grimaldi scored to make it 1-0 early on. Possibly my first free kick goal. Had most of the pressure from then on for a while but palace equalised through a header from wickham approaching the half hour mark. I think with their first attack! Might be wrong.

Went ahead again just before the break through salvio after a mistake by the keeper. 2-1 at the break and that’s how it finished. Though there were chances for both sides second half. Thankfully held on. Gg slattery.

A fairly one sided game! Waris, Coulibaly and 2 goals for Evangelista but really Nantes could have scored 6 or 7! Villarreal's relegation form is really well recreated in PES!

Porto 2-1 Wolves

Porto went 1 up on 12 through Brahimi. Wolves equalised on 18 with a nice finish by Joto. The home side restored the lead after 23 when Brahimi headed in. Heroic defending thereafter from the outfield players somehow managed to cope with the relentless Wolves pressure and I was glad to hear the final whistle.

Leicester 1 - 3 nantes

Nantes went 2 up, Leicester get 1 back and started to play well looking like a great comeback. But nantes scored a 3rd and killed them off. Probably should have had a 4th too

Palace 2 - 4 West Ham

Palace were on a right bad run of 4 defeats in a row before going into this game. With all my keepers on down arrow along with Zaha and Townsend this looked an ominous sign.

Lanzini opened the scoring on 10 mins before Van Aanholt volleyed from a cleared corner, it hits the defender in the face I think and wrong footed the keeper to make it 1-1 after 27 mins.
It stayed that way until Anderson scored in injury time.
Noble scored on 57 mins and then Yarmolenko made it 4-1 after 61 mins. The keeper was doing some strange diving out of the way to try dave some of the goals

Benteke pulled one back on 75 mins but it was too little too late.

The search goes on for Palace to find their next win.

Nantes 2-2 Wolves

Cracker of a game. Wolves raced into a 2-0 goal inside 20 mins through goals from Jimenez and Adama Traore. A slight formation change at halftime from Nantes saw them grab one back early one in the 2nd half through Evangelista, and then were level after 70mins after Waris finished off a nice passing move. Crazy chances either way once it was 2-2 and neither team were settling for the draw, sitters were missed and penalty shouts were waved away! Fair result in the end and a great game, cheers Damo!
