    Hi,

I recently completed the Tus scheme, in which I really enjoyed, and was interested in doing the CE scheme. I wanted to know is it possible to get on the CE scheme straightaway, or is there a period of time you have to wait?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance!

You can go straight away, and you'll get maximum of 1 year on the scheme.

I think if you take a year break in between (remaining on your social welfare payment) , you can get 2 to 3 years.

Thank you! I didn't know that.

Would I be correct in saying that in the duration of the CE scheme they put you on training/courses? I don't mind either way, but it is nice to know in advance.

Yes, training and/or courses are part of the scheme and will depend on what your needs are.
