RATINGS QUESTION IF ANYBODY COULD ENLIGHTEN ME PLEASE.

In the 2.40 Thurles - Why has Camelia De Cotte - who had 5 chases after having a hurdles rating - not got an OR?

Ellie Mac has both ratings. Thanks.

I think I am half correct here, so this is not gospel, there is a health warning with my synopsis. But, I think it is because Camelia De Cotte has raced in exclusive mares events in 4 of her 5 starts over fences. Ellie Mac gained her rating while racing with males in novice company since the summer. She has completed 3 full events with her mares allowance and as such has received a rating.

There may be other permutations involved, if anyone knows please add on.

Thanks Iam - Sounds plausible to me - really could not figure it out - well spotted.

LOL - just read your name again - don't think so.

Camelia De Cotte easily beat Ellie Mac at Listowel by just under 3 lengths last September.

I see a few HDB's tipped up here.

The most interesting won not mentioned is the filly running in 10 mins, that destroyed the 17 runner field and smashed the bookies at Limerick at Christmas. She won as cool as you like under Dylan Robinson.

    Kieran Mariga's Cool Saint. 8's into 4's

I think Surf Instructor will also win today in the 3.15. Henry could have a good day.

Rachael took an awful sprawling there, she looks fairly shook but is walking gingerly at least.

Hope the horse is okay too. Nasty fall. Looked to me to be all over the winner. Eitherway looks decent.

Well done. He's one of my favourites and the price is always decent (nornally 11's). 7/1 SP

The 1.52 Pau. Full Court Press used to be with Johnny Murtagh.

As bad as he ever was in a claimer.

    Hardluck Hud.

You were done by some almighty gambles (there is some serious gambles going on today)

Winner of the 2.20 Ifandbut 22/1 into 7/1 (backed everywhere)

Winner of the 230 Geronimo 7/2 to 15/8F

And theres more family gambles to come.

3.05 Ayr Pookie Pekan 13/2 into 4/1 (Coultherd's money down)
3.40 Ayr Emma Beag 25-1 into 5/2! (the Brookes) Used to be with Liz Doyle down here in Wexford, rated 20lbs higher then)

The 3.40 at Ayr is intriguing.

All the money for Emma Beag. The lurker is at the top, Mash Potato running off 93. Beaten 3 lengths by Brosna George last October at Down Royal when last seen over hurdles. Brosna George now rated 110. 12/1

State of the ground at Exeter.

The bumper coming up at 4.30 will need a lot of stamina and Young Lieutenant stays 3 miles, formerly with Denis Murphy. 11/2
