Buy an animalintex poultice. Mostly used for horses. Wrap in up on the hoof with silage tape for a few day. Great cure, rarely fails

Agree with the animalintex poultice. To make sure it stays on well use a baby's disposable nappy over it and then use vet wrap to secure.

Use the self adhesive bandage, almost like velcro, also available from the vet.
