Murder probe under way into 'senseless' killing

    See this being said now and again,I look at the report and often find the magical line. '' known to the police '' contained within.

    Senseless - Maybe not, Probably made perfect sense to those who killed the person..

    Are media being very lazy and inaccurate using this phrase when clearly its not a random innocent person involved..?

    Is that the killing in NI?

    I heard the report, and the PSNI saying they have no idea why.

    I heard he was a father of 2 kids, he's 37 and a 21yr old woman who was with him is critical.

    I'm thinking "was thr 21yr old his partner and mother of kids"? And if not, then perhaps he was having an affair with this woman and her BF found out and shot them both. Plenty of nutcases in NI.

    It was the PSNI's Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Boyce who said it was "senseless". You can't criticise the media for quoting him and the accuracy is defined by the quote.
