Auld lad's 131 Renault Grand Scenic had an emissions error come up on the dash last week, he left it into the dealer and they're saying that they will have to do a job on the fuel injectors among other things, will cost approximately 1900 euro.

Does this seem reasonable for what has to be done or is he getting screwed?

Get a second opinion and price from an independent garage, unless your getting goodwill from Renault or have no other choice then bringing a 6 year old car to a main dealer makes little sense.

    Get it to an indy.

5 year warranty is out so stay clear.

Is he driving long distances and motorway etc?

    Or short journeys???

Dpf is most likely clogged if the latter.
