little bit long winded but here goes.
I have recently moved in with my partner so am now a cohabiting couple, I was getting the single person child carer credit but iv been told that i am no longer entitled to it as i am now cohabiting,
is there any other tax credit for a cohabiting couple with a depend 12 year old child in school, or am I just now going to be paying more tax.
also it seems my upper 40% tax threshold has dropped from 39k to 35k a Year now that im cohabiting

There’s no other tax credit. If you were married to your partner you could share them out between you to the best advantage .
