    Does anyone know if the happ crowd who pay a percentage of rent pay the first months rent for you or have you to get the deposit and first months rent yourself. Any help at all would be appreciated

    As far as I know it’s paid a month in arrears so if you move in on Feb 1st you would not receive the payment until Mar 1st. So, obviously, you would need to have the first months rent plus deposit already saved. You really ought to contact the housing department in the local authority who will clarify the situation for you.

    as the poster above said they pay in arrears, so youll need the deposit and first months rent up front
