Noticed my oil fired CH is noisy when started and then normal after 10 mins or so. Checked the boiler and pump in the garage and don’t hear noise there. Bled a couple of rads but no change. It’s a closed system. Just wondering if anyone has a reason and a solution.

Is it a tapping or knocking noise?
If so it's more than likely pipework too tight against the joists or floorboards, so when the heat comes on the pipes move slightly causing the noise.
If this is the issue, the only solution is to find the problem areas and lift the floors to rectify it. Huge job if you are in a finished fully decorated house.
