Health Insurance Plans

    This site is hard to navigate so not sure where to put this query.

    Our health insurance is due fro renewal soon and I am checking out two plans.

    One is the VHI PM1 1011, currently on this at a cost of 5000 per annum for a family of five.

    The other plan is the Laya plan Simply Connect. This is coming in at 4606.50 for the same number of people. the Laya plan seems to have better cover for Ortopaedic issues and access to the Mater private and the Blackrock and Beacon Hospitals but I dont think they have the equivalent of the VHI Swift clinics.

    Is anyone on either of these plans and in particular how do you rate Laya. Do they offer travel insurance, we have been with VHI for about twenty years and reluctant to change.
