Disability allowance rates

    Hi all,

After chasing up my application for DA it has been awarded after appeal. Hasn’t received a letter from them yet and was told I wouldn’t hear anything for a month or so.

My question is to do with rates, as the lady on the phone couldn’t say for sure. I’m currently earning €150 a week, and from searching online it says 50% of earnings within €120-360~ Isn’t taken into account, so by that logic am I correct in thinking that the amount assessed by them is €15? And with that, using the rate bands on the SW website I’ll be receiving €183?

Also if anyone has any information regarding how soon backpay is paid it would be nice, i applied in May 2018 and just got accepted, and did not receive any supplementary welfare during that time.
    Thanks a million for reading!
