Im covering a fairly large grassy area as a place to park the cars, currently grass. Should I put down plastic membrane or not and just spray regularly?

Remove grass sods and a couple of inches of soil. Put down decent quality membrane. Fill with some sort of hardcore/crushed rock. Roll/compress. Top with gravel. In 12 months top up gravel.

We had one area done like this (decorative, not for parking) and it was great. Another area was skimped and was a nuisance growing weeds, soil breaking through etc.

Do it right as in the way looksee said because if you don't it will break your heart and your soul and then you'll have to do it the way looksee said anyway or you'll end up getting concrete poured.
