What caused this damage?

Apologies if there is a more appropriate topic/thread for this and move it if needed.

It is only a piece of heavy paper with adhesive stickers on the other side. It was in a bag of various papers, mostly little darlings artwork that had previously had pride of place on the fridge, but now relegated to the attic. Some were collages made with beans/legumes/grains/pasta.

I'm convinced I know "who done it" but I'd like confirmation before I declare all out war.

Can this damage be caused by anything other than a substantially sized rat?

    Thanks :(

A rat, who was the size of a rat, or maybe just a mouse.

Rats or mice and worse is they are chewing that for bedding so you need to hunt that down too. The bite pattern is too neat for birds I think.
