    If you paid for them yourself then of course you can! The fact that you're receiving IB doesn't affect your entitlement to a tax refund, assuming that you've earned enough to have paid income tax/PAYE.

    Have to point out here that you can’t get a tax refund if you didn’t pay any tax.
