    Hi All,

I am on the look out for a Kia Rio 1.1L Diesel. Keeping a close eye on DoneDeal, Carzone and CarsIreland but no decent bargains showing up. Is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Choosing this model because of economy, and I will have decent mileage to cover, mostly on motorway or high quality primary routes.

    Any help most appreciated.

Have you heard of the UK?

    :)
That’s where the bargains are. I wouldn’t go on the assumption that a 1.1 would more economical than a slightly larger engines one on the motorway or if you don’t drive sedately.

Don’t get me wrong, they were supposed to be unbelievable on fuel when they were new but they don’t get the 80mpg claimed.

I'd go a class larger if you have a lot of miles to cover.

Cagey about buying from the UK, I wouldn't be the best to look at a car and know if it's a solid purchase.

I suppose, outside of the above mentioned websites, there doesn't seem to be that much for sale in Ireland.

Iirc the 1.1D was never sold in Ireland. They'll all be imports.
