Cheap Hard Wood Boards in Dublin

    Hi,

As part of my 2019 resolutions, I decided to learn some DIY skills.

My first project is to build a triangle shelf, such as these ones:

    imgur.com/a/Thm5j4O or google "triangle shelves"

Where can I purchase suitable hard wood at the lowest price in Dublin?
B&Q seems expensive... surely there are some wholesale wood places around.

I am gonna need approximately 7m in length, 12 cm width and 3 cm thickness.

Thank you and Happy New Year Everyone!

You will not get 12cm ✖ 3cm planed timber off the shelf to buy anywhere, you could try Strahans in Rathcoole, they machine hardwood to order but it won't be cheap, generally cheap and hardwood are not, two words that go together.

Cool, thank you for the address. I will try them out. Would Pine board be expensive too?

Pine would be a lot cheaper, you could try Woodworkers in Harold's Cross, for 30mm laminated red or white deal cut to the width you need, from an 8✖4 sheet
