Sour milk

Gave my 3 and 5 year old their breakfast earlier. Weetabix with heated milk in microwave for 30 seconds. They ate it all.

Then I had my porridge with milk, didn’t taste right. Smelt the carton and not a pleasant smell. Expiry not till 4th January, no lumpiness or thick bits etc when I poured it down the sink, a smooth flow, just had the bad smell.

Are the children likely to get sick from this?

They'll be grand. Caught one of mine eating mouldy bread, just laughed.
