Nightmare housemate

    Hi everyone,
I am looking for advice. To long story short, I am renting a room in a student house with 4 other guys. One of the guys has become a serious problem to us. He doesn't clean, makes a mess and doesn't pay his share of the bills. The house is managed by an agency, so we have contacted them about this. They issued a warning that's all. On new years, when the rest of us were gone home, he had an absolutely destructive house party with around 10 people breaking stuff, messing up the place, sleeping in our rooms and messing our rooms up, touching our things, smoking weed in the house, broke a chair in bits from kitchen, the place was an absolute disaster. The neighbours even called gardai, which they only asked to keep down the noise. Now I have written yet another complaint to agency and included all pictures of destruction but not sure what will happen next. I'm just looking for any advice on this, and what are our rights as tenants if he is being seriously anti social. We are scared the agency will just issue yet another warning.

Do you not lock your room when your not there ??

Straightnhack onto company and insist they do something. Keep hassling them until they act.

We actually don't have locks. Should of asked agency when we moved in but at first we all were getting along so I suppose nobody bothered. I was thinking the same, I'll just keep pestering them about it.

Just dont let him back in. 3 against 1 should do it. Get police involved
