    Hello every one ,Im a carpenter/Joiner in the west i have been involved in lots of different projects like converting vans to campers ,Renovating and refitting boats Making Furniture ,windows ect First and second fixing . I have a workshop which i would like to do more in instead of traveling to jobs so im looking for ideas if there is anything that is hard to to get made or done in my line of work or if some one has a business idea to manufacture something i would be interested to hear about it .

    You could look at making model-specific flat-pack furniture kits (overhead lockers/kitchen units) for VW Transporters and Fiat Ducatos.

    maybe devise kit wall panelling and or fire breast alcove units. custom kit sizes.

    These are all the rage presently - obviously its a fashion thing but built in units are back with a bang.

    I don't have specific product suggestions, but I suggest you use social media to promote your work. Take good quality, well-lit pictures, post to your own professional FB and Instagram pages, and then post helpful suggestions on relevant FB groups like Self Build and Renovations Ireland to generate a bit of awareness and let people discover your stuff. There are often people asking for things like timber beams over fireplaces or posting pics of cowboy work for feedback.

    At the extreme end of the social media pimping scale, check out Scott Brown Carpentry in NZ who'd almost video his trips to the toilet if he could find a way to get a Makita tool plug in there. :D
