If a site is registered in USA do you have a right to have your username anonymised as per GDPR.I searched and it seems you do if you are in Europe but i am not sure if you have to have bought something? Does it apply to an account on a discussion forum?

    Registered or hosted in USA?
Either way GDPR applies to EU citizens.
What do you mean by anonymised? What are you wanting done and what purpose was the data collected for?

GDPR applies to all websites available in the EU even if the company has no physical presence in the EU.
