for some unknown reason it wont let me upload the picture here because it says it too big a picture.

The simplest way is to upload the photo on dropbox (or other 'cloud' such as Google Drive or a picture sharing cloud). Right click it when it appears on the cloud, create(copy) a share link. Then post the link here. Then it won't matter what size it is.

You can also send it to a pc/mac and open what ever photo edit/view program on the computer - editing it to make it a smaller file size will be an option.

There is no rush at my end, though. The mods will sort it for you after xmas with no bother.
