Has anyone used this over the past few days?

Is it worth it, in terms of potential time savings or avoiding traffic? Surely the busses ultimately run into the same traffic gridlock somewhere along the route?

Considering using it late afternoon/early evening today...Thanks in advance for sharing any experiences!

They can choose whether to use the dual carriageway or the other route, so are picking the fastest one.

Thanks Mrs! Just more so wondering if either (or any) route would be anyways fast these days leading up to Christmas?!

They can also use the Bus lanes where relevant.

The only advantage to it would be cheap parking.

There is very little time saving as the bus will be caught in the same traffic in Bohermore/ College Rd/ Tuam Rd/ Lough Atalia. There is very little dedicated bus lane.

You would also have to lug all your shopping around all day with you, can’t just nip back to the car.

P&R is a great idea, unfortunately GCC just don’t seem to interested in proper dedicated bus lane infrastructure.

I can report back having used it both yesterday and today.... excellent service and I would highly recommend it.

~20 mins max each way on average with no major hold-ups in traffic. They're picking whatever route makes sense at the time it would seem.
