    The ongoing anthology series that follows Italy's legendary Medici family, taking place 20 years after Medici: Masters of Florence.

    Takes us to the heart of the Renaissance through one of the most important historical figures of all time, Lorenzo the Magnificent - where an attempt on Piero de Medici's life forces his son Lorenzo (Daniel Sharman) to assume leadership of the family-run bank. Once in power, young Lorenzo resolves to do things differently, which swiftly brings him into conflict with the head of Florence's other powerful banking family, Jacopo Pazzi (Sean Bean). All episodes debut Jan. 25 on Netflix.

    Does anyone watch this? I watched the first 2 seasons last year and have started the 3rd

    i like it but i love these historical dramas i think this is one of the better ones

    Just into season 3 found season 2 way to obvious and skipped a few episodes.

    It's easy watch tbh

    not sure what you mean by "too obvious"? it follows history pretty much to the letter as far as plotting and political manouvres go, like TLK in that regard, there are some liberties taken to fill in some gaps in knowledge.

    But it all happened, and they are portraying real people.

    But it all happened, and they are portraying real people.
    I think as ive read quite a large amount of stuff from this period I wanted them to move it on a little quicker. Thus skipped ep 6 and 7. Also the Sean Bean factor just get to it already 😂.

    That being said season 3 pacing is better.
