Hi I drive a VW Polo, my steering wheel sits slightly to the left when the car is stopped or rolling it won’t stay in a straight position.
This happened before and I change the two front wheels and the car drive straight that’s was about a year ago now but it’s has come back in the last week or two, I have has the car realligned and the tire pressure to the correct amount but it’s still steering off to the left, the car hasn’t been involved in any crashes or damaged caused to the car, does anyone have any suggestions what it could be?

do you have to hold the steering wheel straight whilst driving? If you let go of the wheel would it veer off? SOunds like you need a mechanic.

Surely in todays age, it doesn't matter whether if it's straight, gay or bi.

    Very archaic thinking!

It probably has electric power steering, which in Polos are known to give trouble. Google or YouTube it.

Yes I have to hold it or it’ll gradually drift of coarse to the left.

Did you try swapping the front wheels? This is an easy way of eliminating the wheels. But there is a long list of what will cause any car to drift...even wrong tyre pressure in the rear wheels, will cause drag on the side that has low pressure. These are simple steps to take, but if they don't solve it, its a job for a mechanic and a lift.

Mine does that after I've had a few pints.

    Road camber??
Some vehicles will drift down the camber of the road, try it on a piece of level road.

I used to have a Triumph Herald, that started to "crab" when I let off the accelerator and straighten up when I sped up, it turned out to be a collapsed box section on the rear chassis.
This caused the rear axle to slide backwards and forwards depending on whether the wheels were powered or not, a few washers and a bit of angle and it was sorted.
