    Hi Folks,

I noticed the other day that the indicator on the passenger side of my 2015 Nissan Note wasn't working. On closer inspection I can see a small hole in the indicator where I assume water has gotten in and as a result affected the indicator. I'm wondering if I can buy the lens part and replace just that or would I need to replace the whole wing mirror? The mirrors have a heater- would this be sealed off from the indicator or likely affected as a result of any water ingress?

I guess if the latter I'd be best off ringing around scrap yards looking for the part?

If it’s LED then there’s every chance that Nissan sell the lamp unit as a part - separate to the wing mirror, this would include PCB, LEDs and outer lens as one non-servicible unit.

Yes we sell the LED separate but they are quite expensive.
If you’re any way handy, gat a can of contact cleaner and make sure everything is free from corrosion and has a good connection, depending on the damage to the lease you may get away with a drop of some kind of sealer on it.

Thanks Cian, I'll see what can be done. I note you say 'we', if it's at all possible and when you're back at work, would you be able to get me a price for the LED unit (which I assume includes a new indicator cover). If you'd rather not get involved then perhaps you'd be kind enough to point me in the direction of where I could buy the unit.

    Many thanks.

Yeah I’ll ask tomorrow and PM you a price, man. That’s no issue.
