    Hi there hope someone can offer a bit of advice please . My current situation is , I work part time at the moment 19 hours a week but hopefully in the new year it will go up to 40 hours a week , my question is what way will my hap work when I go full time ?? There is 4 of us in the house myself my partner and 2 kids aged 5 and 14 , I earn 232 per week from work and also we receive 236 WFP. And the rent is €1100 per month to witch we pay a weekly payment of €58.50 and idea please and thank you .

    They will recalculate your contribution based off of your new wage. Each local authority has slightly different rules. Your local authority should have a circular outlining their method so you can see for your self what the increase will be. Search for the differential rent for the appropriate area

    Don't forget your wfp will hsve to be recalculated also.

    If your wages go up and your wfp is reduced accordingly, there probably won't be too much of a change in your contribution
