I am wondering if a side extension to the rear of an existing garage requires planning permission? It is roughly 2m by 3m....
It involved raising the height of a boundary wall from under 2m to roughly 3m

Is it to the rear of the house or the rear of the garage?
Raising the boundary automatically brings it into the planning net anyway.

It is a semi detached house with a garage, this extension is to the rear of the garage but doesn't go beyond the rear of the house.
As it is behind the garage the side boundary wall was raised to accommodate it.

    Can you post a picture?
If it’s to the side of the existing house and not to the rear then good chance it requires planning.
