    Hello,

Are you all set for the Christmas and all that?

Anyway, lets have a look at who's going to be on the final proper live LLS before Christmas

Sonia O'Sullivan won multiple World Championships (two in one weekend) and Olympic Silver and now her daughter Sophie O'Sullivan is showing promise as a runner, winning Silver in the Euro Under 18s 800 metres this year. Sonia lapped me in a Parkrun earlier in the year, but sure it's the taking part that counts. Sonia and Sophie will be on the show.

Proper big stars Bangor's own Snow Patrol are back and dropping in to plug stuff. Skidz Snowbiz Showbiz News - Johnny McDaid out of Snow Patrol is engaged to Courteney Cox out of Friends and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

Gillingham once gave Crockenhill FC some Corrugated Iron and Tracksuit Tops in exchange for the fairly Irish total legend Tony Cascarino who is on the show this week. Misery fans will be interested to hear Tony has been undegoing treatment for a "Tumor the size of a Golf Ball", hopefully he is doing well now.

Termonfeckin's finest Evanna Lynch who was Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter got to the final of America's Dancing With The Stars recently. Maybe that will get her a Wildcard into the RTE version, who knows? She's here to talk to Tubs. According to Wikipedia another famous Termonfeckin is "Larry Gorman, internationally renowned Poker player, failed Feichins Goalkeeper" Don't be a Goalie, kids. The hoors will remember that one time you threw the ball into your net decades later

Enough of this, where are the people we know and see way too much of on the LLS, I hear you say - well, worry not as Pat Shortt and Jason Byrne both appear and will each be presented with ceremonial stuffed owls to mark their 100th appearances on the LLS this year

Edit: Say Your Number says the Leinster Gaelic Football Club Champions Mullinalaghta are on. Fair play.

Music from Anne Marie Wikipedia tells me she is "not to be confused with Anne Murray". She sings Grime Rock and is a black belt in Shotokan Karate and, look I'm just reading out Wikipedia at this stage. You'll get enough of that from Tubs.

It says here the Three Amigos are on. That was a cracking film. Mike Read from Saturday Superstore and TOTP did a Car Crash theatre interview with Chevy Chase a while back, which sounds amazing https://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2018/01/14/38869/car_crash_as_mike_read_interviews_chevy_chase. Yeah, it's not those Three Amigos

Can we get some things back the way they used to be?

Why do we have to know the entire guest list 2 days before the show?
In the olden days, we used to have no idea who was coming on next and it made it a bit interesting, although often more disappointing.

    While we're at it,
    - can we bring back a bit of interaction between guests by keeping some on for some parts after their segment is done. Let them interact with the next guest

    - Can we have questions by telephone callers and audience members too?

I know Tubridy would be really uncomfortable at the unpredictability of it - but that would be part of the gas!

Heard the Mullinalaghta team will be on as well, barely a village of 400 beating a club that has 5,000 members alone and a few All-Ireland winners on the team is worthy of their time in the spotlight, fair play to them.

Tubs intro was hilarious. They took on a club from Dublin. Jesus man just do 2 min research and see it's not any old club but one of the biggest in the country they beat.

My Mammy picked me up from an all-night rave on the outskirts of Rochdale back in 1992.

    No shame.

think he's trying harder - that was an improvement on anything he's put out before ! With the possible exception of Girls Aloud :D

Well, the presenter was terrible, the toys were average, the big top set was below par...

Audience member going into labour on the Toy Show live on television, that would have been a proper viral news story.

Evening Plenty, Happy Christmas to you too

I do of course approve, and incidentally that classic is one of the songs featured in Danny Baker's Christmas Countdown tomorrow on Sky Arts

Saturday 4.30pm Danny Baker's Christmas Hits (Sky Arts)
The broadcaster and comedy writer presents a selection of 12 of his favourite festive songs as he attempts to define what makes the ideal Christmas song

More listings like that every week on your BeebRock thread.
Part 1 of the gigantic Christmas listings expected on Wednesday
