    Hi

Just a quick question. I'm an adult living at home and for my social housing application I had to submit the household income. Am I right in assuming my parents income will be taken into account even though they wouldn't be helping me pay for accommodation?

    Thanks

No. Indeed, it is debatable whether you should have included your parents' income in your application, given that they are NOT part of the "applicant household"

"The income of all persons aged 18 years and over included in a social housing application shall be assessed for the purposes of determining whether an applicant household meets the income requirements."

    From here: http://www.environ.ie/en/Publications/DevelopmentandHousing/Housing/FileDownLoad,29413,en.pdf

My read of the application form is that you should only include details of the applicant(s) income. But if you were instructed by your local council to include their income, then I stand corrected.
