Hi, I'm just wondering is it the norm to receive a review questionnaire from the illness benefit section after less than 3 months on it and also it said there is a possibility you could get called for a medical assessment. This is what it said in the letter, just wondering if anyone else has experience with this? Thanks

Yes its very normal, its even more normal if something very non specific is the reason for being out sick, for eg stress, back pain, depression etc.

And yes you can get called for assessment to check if you are capable of work.
And they can deem you capable of work if there isnt evidence to back up the being sick claims, so if its stress etc, you shouldbe able to provide evidence of being referred to mental health unit for help and assessment, back pain, should be able to show referrals for phsyio, pain management etc to try and solve the issue. etc etc. You need to show that you are working on solving the problem
