1000mph Bloodhound cancelled, yours for £250k

    Ok so looks like funding isn't enough to complete the Bloodhound SSC world speed record car and it will be scrapped. Perhaps the Irish government could step in, offer a few million to help complete it on a joint Ire/UK basis?


    Or maybe someone over here might buy it? Seems like a waste to let it slip into a museum or private collection without first achieving its 1000mph goal?
