Planning permission required for change of use from house to multiple apartments?

    If a house is being changed into apartments is planning permission required for the change of use? What about if its changed into a house share of tenants?

    Material change of use so yes.

    Change into apartments means planning, fire safety cert and disabled access cert.

    Tenants sharing an existing house doesn’t require planning or any permissions as such, but you have to keep it as one single dwelling.
