So i recently bought a lemon and was just wondering what would be a general price for a cylinder head repair in Ireland not including labour of taking the head off and putting it back on again. Friend of mine in Lithuania said it would cost roughly 200 quid for a complete repair including welding of cracks ate and shipping would be roughly 50 euro there and back. Is it worth it or could I get it anywhere cheaper here? Head removal and installation would be around 300-400 aswell I'd assume. The car is a 1990 bmw 320 so nothing too difficult.
P.s. If the guy who sold me the car is reading this I hope your mx5 throws a rod xoxo

Give Howard's engineering an email. They specialize in this kind of stuff. Ive got a few cylinder heads rebuilt by then over the years and its never mad money. They are quick at replying to emails aswell
