Are any of the budget projectors any use?

    Was looking at buying a projector. Would only set it up to watch a movie and then put it away again. Would be great over the Christmas. I see a load on Amazon for less than £100 and the reviews are always 4+ stars.

    But reading one of the 1 star reviews (as I often do to see if their complaint is legit and not just something to do with delivery) and some said they were offered an Amazon voucher for a good review. If everyone is being offered this, you'd wonder how honest their reviews are.

    It'd be sitting it on a table and I'd buy a screen on a stand if the projectors are decent. It would be a very dark room as we'd only really use it at night.

    Anyone bought one of these and recommend a particular one? Or am I dreaming and would need to spend £300+ for something half decent?

    Oh, and can you plug a 2.1 speaker system into them via a 3.5mm headphone socket.
