Hi, I sent off my forms about 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything,
Do they usually send out confirmation that they have received them?
Does anyone know the waiting times at present?

    Thank you 😊

I didn’t get confirmation from them until I emailed them. Taking about 8-10 weeks at the moment I think.

Hi, I have applied for a temporary position, the job will be based on a 12 week contract with possibility of extension but perhaps it will only last 12 weeks. As I can see from an earlier post here it may take up to 8 or 12 weeks before wfp is approved. So I am wondering if all I have to prove my employment is a contract for 12 weeks of work will I even be considered for wfp?

    Thanks in advance.

They are on their tea break!!

Wait times are stupidly long. I wouldn't worry about it anyway. Ask about them back dating it too.

They ask for payslips as proof of employment, they generally ask for the last 6. Altho im sure 1-2 will do if its a new job,

you will get backdated to the date you applied

However if you will be going back on jsa after the 12 weeks then you need to stop the wfp to go on jsa you cant get both (my hubby got made redundant 6 months into anew wfp year and he had to send them a letter to say his employment ceased when applying for jsb as he couldnt have both)

The bit your employer has to sign also says that they intend to employ you for at least the next three months so make sure it's filled in straight away

A letter is normally issued when you're claim is registered
