    Hi all,

I was looking for a new shear grab for a front loader, nothing to dear, so I was thinking either Johnsons or Fleming.

Seems to be quite good reviews on the Johnsons, but not many (good or bad) on the Fleming. Dont need a big one. 4ft or 4ft6

Just wondering your thoughts if you have one.
    Thanks

I bought a 5 ft McKenna this year. So far so good tho it’s not too busy but it was well priced, well made and have a good name around here.

    Thanks for the replies.

I'm up north, haven't seen any rossmore or mckenna ones about, I'll have a look around and pick up one somewhere.

Have mckenna here, cheaper but I wouldn't buy another one. Four foot. Some of the grease nipples don't take grease. The steel is poor quality imo. The hooks on the euro hitch are too close together. The weld around one of the fittings on the cyl leaked aswell.

I'd recommend going for at least a 4'6" one if the tractor and yard can handle it. Have a 4'4" here and can use to split bales on the round and takes all the plastic and most of the net on the prongs after dropping it but the extra 2" would make a big difference with misshapen bales.

The hooks were most likely welded on by the dealer?
