    Hi There,

I recently attempted a concrete step for the front of our new build house but can't quite get the colour match similar to the existing concrete path. I am looking to relay the step.

Any advice how to make the step less 'Grey'? to match the lighter colour to the existing path.

    I used a 1:4 mix of cement:building sand

(Ignore the chipped edging, I remove the boarding once I saw the color wasn't going to be right...)

Sand and cement is not concrete, you need concrete gravel.
The step is still wet, once dried it will lighten. But sand and cement won't be very durable and will crumble.
