Has anyone ordered a new VW or Audi for 2019?

Has anyone ordered a new VW or Audi for 2019? I was wondering what sort of delays are being experienced with delivery times due to WLTP certification for certain engines.

I'm thinking about an A4 tfsi and I understand the 1.4 engine is being replaced by a 2.0 unit of similar power (150hp) I emailed Audi but they are being very tight-lipped and I get the impression they may not have the full facts from Germany as to exactly what engines are available in specific models or even when cars might be available.

Reading the UK forums, people are getting frustrated with lack of clarity on new Audi models ordered as far back as last April. A few reports of new orders having been built and even landed in the UK but not being released to the garages due to delays in WLTP certification. Doesn't sound encouraging.

Haven't ordered yet but in the same boat they don't know the band's, have been told if I put in the order they'll hold the price so won't be at a loss if it rises which it's probably going to do in my case.

The A4 is getting a facelift for 2019:

SE models getting 18" wheels as standard and S line getting 19"s.
New front bumper and rear exhaust. Not sure about interiors but I believe any changes inside are minimal if any.

A very low-key facelift, typical Audi of course.

They are part of the Edition 50 pack so not standard, but may as well be.

Not sure if Audi have confirmed Edition 50 pricing on the SE, but it was €1,500 and contains the 18" Alloys, Metallic Paint (usually €1,242), Sports Seats, Heated Seats, LED Interior lights and a few other bits.

S-Line Edition 50 pack is €1,700 and contains the 19" Alloys, Metallic Paint, LED Interior Lights, Front Park Sensors, Heated Front Seats, Comfort Arm Rest and Flat Bottom Steering wheel.

Co2 figures are out for the 35 TFSi (150HP) Manual (132 for the SE & 136 for the S-Line) so dealers may have pricing. It's not up for the Diesels but I know dealers have it since last week - haven't inquired about Petrol.

18's on an SE is just stupid. People buy SE as they prioritise comfort, the larger wheels compromise that.

If they want a less comfortable ride that is what the S-Line is for.
