If it was back in 2012, the answer is yes - Now TV is a cut down, pre pay version of Sky. You can buy the box/stick in most electrical retailers and you buy passes which give you access to sports, movies, and entertainment channels. No Irish or U.K. terrestrial channels on it though.

There is talk of a more full version of Sky by Broadband being offered shortly, but it hasn’t progressed beyond trials in Italy yet.

There are IPTV options from eir and Vodafone that are effectively akin to traditional cable TV services but delivered via the openeir network. They do have Irish channels. If your only interest is the Irish channels many programmes are streamed live for free (well, after you sit through two minutes of ads, so make sure to be at your device a few minutes early or you’ll miss the start of the show you want to stream) on the RTE/Virgin Media players.
