Can someone please help me ..
I have been on OPF payment since my daughter was born she’s now 14,, I have now returned to work but only part time
The last 2 weeks I’ve done training but been paid for it
    8 hours first week
    12 hours last week
I got a letter from Inteo this morn saying revenue have told them I’m working
I’m panicking so much I really thought I was allowed work 19 hours per week, I’ve spoke to citizens Information Centre who told me I should have declared it immediately
I won’t be able to go to the intreo office till next week as I’m in work but what will happen me??

Working family payment is 3 month wait to be completed and I will be making €180 from 19 hours work
I’m really panicking how i will survive
I’m happy to be working but I’m also terrified of being without social welfare after to long

Has anyone been in my situation could you please advise me

Nothing to worry about. You will have to find the time to go to SW. your not on OPFP any more or JSA Transition your just on Jobseekers because your child is 14. Unless you are also getting Carers Allowance for a child? Have you been signing on?

Hi, no I’m not getting Carers, I have been called to sign once every 2 months,
But foolishly I thought because I wasn’t going to the post office to get my money it was going straight into my bank that I wasn’t on jobseekers fully yet

Ok so if you totally give up Jobseekers then you will have €180 wages €205 WFP and €31.30 BTWFD per week.
That’s €415.90 per week for 20 hours work.

Thanks for making it up, I’ll go see them Monday but will I get into trouble for not declaring it straight away
I’ve done 2 weeks of paid training but only 8 hours first week and 12 last week I haven’t done a full 19 hours yet,
Will I have to repay the money?
I’ve been told wfp takes 3 months to come through I’ll be so broke trying to survive on €180
Will my Jobseeker’s Allowance be stopped straight away Monday when I tell them?

You can get the BTWFD and SWA while your waiting for the WFP.
