Has anyone been asked for anything unusual with your claim?

I am hoping to get it as quickly as possible as I am really struggling.

I have payslips, a tax cert, p60 from last year, bank statement. Is there anything else they could ask for??

Wasn’t asked for anything after I sent in my form and all paperwork required but it took almost 10 weeks to get payment through.

Thanks. I checked out the wait times..... Yikes!! That's why I really want to make sure it's all right before I get it sent in

I didn’t send in a bank statement!! I didn’t know you had to. It wasn’t on the checklist at the end of the application form... or was it and I didn’t see?

I didn’t send a bank statement, WFP is based on your earnings not what you have in the bank.

If you’re struggling without it I think that you can go to the CWO and they’ll give you money until the WFP comes through. Then they’ll deduct what you were given from the backpayment. I’m not 100% sure about this but definitely worth looking into if you need it. Hope you get payment quickly enough but I highly doubt you’ll get it before new year.

Unfortunately I make too much to get anything from the CWO, I'm just caught because my partner and I have separated and my expenses are a good bit higher than i can cover alone.

I'm thinking it will be end of Jan at least before I get anything so will just have to muddle on
