    Anyone know were I could buy a straight (not car) 4 amp fuse in Dublin

    No Cerco have not tried them. Thanks for the suggestion. wrecking my head trying to think were I would get one.I will give them a bell tomorrow

    Cerco just checked online and they have them.
    I also learned they are called cartridge fuse.
    They only have speed 4 amp but I am replacing a Timed 4 amp assuming it would work would it make a big difference?

    Do you mean a slow blow fuse?
    If so it would depend on the application. Fair to say if one was fitted then it is part of design so replace like with like. Otherwise you will have nuisance failures.

    Give them a ring tomorrow and see what they have available.
