    Sounds a bit trivial. If ye're both adult enough to have children and lifelong friends just have it out over a coffee and be done with it.

    I've found in life that you have some people who cannot stand to see others do well or they view your situation as a reflection/comparison of themselves. They're miserable and self absorbed.

    Everyone gets reasonably jealous but most people keep it in check and understand that another person's good fortune or new situation is absolutely nothing to do with them.

    Ive seen some very nasty jealous people and they get off on the misery and feeling sorry for themselves.

    I'd say leave it and you do say you haven't had any other issues within the friendship so it might be worth turning a blind eye for now and she'll drop it but one more strike and cut her off or distance yourself a little. You need to surround yourself with people that you feel are happy for you when you're doing well.

    It's not as easy as just having it out either. People don't tend to like being accused jealousy or juvenile ridiculousness and if you do approach it, I'd imagine that it will be denied and you'll be made out to be the bad guy so I wouldnt go down that road.
