Looking for a job in the civil service, secretarial work,etc?

    I'm currently considering a change of career.

    I have an honours degree in childcare management, a course which encompassed many business type modules,e.g. Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Supervisory Development and Customer Care, Information Systems in Childcare to name a few. I am competent in typing ( Microsoft Word).

    I wonder with this in mind, as I have been working in a crèche the past few years, and looking for a change of career, what jobs (apart from childcare) could I apply for? Or would I need to go back to college full time?

    What courses, preferably, PLC could I look into?

    You don't need to do a PLC, at the most a cert in some sort of office package which you can do part time you might not even need that, then apply for relief positions, maternity contracts as a receptions keep adding to your experience till you get the job you want. Jobs like medical sectary or legal sectary the pay is good.
