how long does it take to process an application to get a credit card. My friend applied on the 31/10 and has put in the required documentation and that is where his application sits. We have rung up and they said they would get it sorted but it still sits there. It's fine if you don't want him to give him a credit card but this hanging around is crazy.

Thanks NurseBridie for your query today.

Generally once the documents have been submitted and reviewed, there's a further update within 48 business hours.

If your friend can call  0818 200 334 an Advisor can check the stage of the application. Sorry it's taking longer than expected. They can advise if all documentation is uploaded with the application and give a time frame to your friend for a further update.

    Many Thanks
    Alison

Oh they said they would follow it up but a week later still nothing. Another phone call and they say they will get back to him, they don't understand where it is. My friend has no problem if you don't want to give him a credit card but this hanging around with no update is ridiculous.

    Hi NurseBridie,

Thanks for coming back to us. We are sorry this is taking so long. Could you please ask your friend to contact us via private message here or on any of our social media channels - Facebook, Twitter etc. and we will follow up directly with credit cards on behalf of your friend.

    Many Thanks.
    John
