On my car, I have different Tyres on front (195/65/15) and rear (185/65/15).

I replaced the rear Tyres today, but the garage then went and put the new on the front and older ones on the rear.

So now I have 185/65/15 on the front and 195/65/15 on the rear.

Mechanic said he didn't know they were different sizes and can change them around tomorrow.

Any reason not to change them back?

    None.

You’re better off having the bigger ones on the back anyway as the car will just look wrong with the nose of the car higher than the back.

Be aware that the change in the angle your car is now sitting at will have affected the headlight aim.

    Nothing worth worrying about.

I remember having 15" steelies on the front and 16" alloys on the back for a number of months.

Is it not just the width that’s different and not the height?

No, the 65 in this case is a percentage of the width, so will have different sidewall heights.

Ah, always thought it was the side wall height in mm, not a percentage of the width. Learn something new everyday...... and forget something old!
