Ffs a GAA head type person has just gone into the audition here in Thurles Shopping Centre wearing a 1960s Tipp Jersey. His talent? A pint glass stuck on a hurley that squeaks.

Ah lads ffs making a show of us.

Is this for the show with Simon Cowell or is it some sort of yellowpack Irish version?

Why does Britain have talent in Thurles, is the real question.

Is it some kind of Brexit safeguard?

A young traveller boy passed the audition too apparently. I was gone home at that point so I don’t know who or what his talent was but if it’s the son of that traveller woman I seen queuing then may god help us all! I witnessed them barred from a shop earlier that day in Liberty Square.

The Sun and The Mirror will have a field day

How did we get this far without someone whinging about the use of the word "Britain"...?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

The English again enforcing their imperial jackboot on our culture, endorsed by Irish Times reading West Brits like Kevin Myers, falling over themselves to suckle at the teat of Britannia, disregarding 700 years of famine and oppression and slaughter
