    Hi all, just realised i dont think i applied for back to work dividend when i applied for wfp, i dunno why i assumed was a through same form .....if its not can it be backdated?

    According to the Welfare.ie website: "You are generally paid BTWFD from the date of your claim. Deciding officers can backdate BTWFD for up to 6 months from your claim if there was good cause for the delay."

    Not sure whether failing to apply for the payment is "good cause" but the best thing for you to do is to attach a letter to your BTWD application explaining that you misunderstood the application procedure and assumed that it was linked to your WFP application and ask that the payment be backdated.
