Well now that is a strong first announcement. Id never really considered going to this festival, a few of my mates went a few years ago and they said it was grand, very young crowd I think.

You can get day tickets... they're only €59 which is pretty good considering Biffy would be that much in the 3arena anyway

I'm going on the Sunday and planning on getting the shuttle back to Cork city that night. I just noticed when I went to book the bus that you have to select a specific time for the return journey. Anyone any idea what time biffy will finish at/ what would be the best time to pick for the return bus?
I'm assuming as biffy are headliners that they will be the last of the day (I've never been before)?

Probably midnight, it always is in the main stage areas on Sunday for Irish fests.

I'm going to this for the first time ever (Weekend VIP ticket) and the vibe I'm getting is there will be fcuk all happening until late evening? Can anyone confirm?

Also are they strict in relation to having no BBQs/stoves etc?

Can confirm nothing happens until the music starts around 1-2pm, and its usually quiet enough until about 4pm. The campsite aspect of it is really the draw for most people.

Serious carry on at this festival with drugs, a 19 year old in a critical condition in hospital and two others in a serious condition after taking ecasticy or some sort last night, do they not search people on the way in
