Hive Heating

Apologies if this has been covered,

I have a gem oil boiler in the house, has an analogue clock and on off switch on the boiler.

Heating isn’t zoned it’s just on or off. Is it possible to install a hive thermostat on a system like this or would I need to get motorised valves etc installed?

    Cheers

You could install a Hive single channel, and you would have the same functionally as the clock you have, but on your phone and the addition of thermostatic temperature control (format he Hive wireless Stat) and things like heating boost

If you wanted separation of heating and hot water, or even multiple zones, yes you would have to have motorised valves installed for each zone (if you plumbing would support it)
